Online shopping has been a big temptation for me during quarantine, so when I got an email from Ipsy about a free full-size gift with my first bag, I couldn’t resist! Now that I have had a few weeks to try out all of the products from the April Ipsy Glam Bag, I thought I’d share how I like each item. Stay tuned for my review of May’s glam bag!
Items in this review:
This is the perfect travel-size eyeshadow palette! I could never have too many neutral eyeshadows, so I welcome this one with open arms!
Calendula Juicy Cream
I always love trying new moisturizers, and I’m so excited to try more clean beauty options. This moisturizer is light-weight but still moisturizing enough for my dry areas.
ARACELI Gel Eyeliner
Besides the lipstick, I think this is my next favorite! This gel eyeliner is so incredibly smooth! Even with the pencil tip, I can create a little wing easily, which I love. It also doesn’t smudge and is very long-lasting.
YC Setting Powder
I’ve only used this setting powder twice so far, but I have no complaints!
This matte lipstick is my new favorite! The color is a pretty nude/pink and goes great with my skin tone. It’s very smooth and not at all dry on my lips, which I sometimes struggle with when I wear matte lipsticks.
I added this one to my Ipsy bag because I was running very low on mascara. I really like the thick brush applicator. It easily coated my lashes and smoothed out the excess.
MORPHE Contour Palette
This was my free gift for signing up with Ipsy. I absolutely love this contour and shimmer palette! The contour colors are a tad dark for me, so I just use a little and blend a lot. The four shimmer shades is what really sold me on this product. They’re very pigmented but still look very natural on my skin. I even used this palette as eyeshadow and it worked perfectly!
