    July 2020 Reads

My July reads were all really good! Be sure to follow me on GoodReads to keep up with my “real-time” reading! I’m Still Here This was Reese’s Book Club pick for July, and I think everyone should read this book! I wrote an entire blog post on I’m Still Here. Click here to read it! The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires I love all things vampire ( The Vampire Diaries is an all-time fave, and yes, I’m a Twilight nerd…Team Edward all the way), but I haven’t actually read any books about vampires, so I borrowed SBCGSV on a whim. It definitely was not what I was expecting,…

    May 2020 Reads

I read a lot of amazing books this month! Reading seven books in a month is a huge accomplishment for me, so the fact that I enjoyed all of them is a bonus! Have you read any of my May reads? Let me know in the comments what you thought! Another very predictable read, the last Girl Online book was the most disappointing. I didn’t expect it to be the best book I have ever read, but to me it just didn’t have as much depth as the first book. I’m glad I read the series and I love the author, but definitely more of a teen read and something…

    April 2020 Reads

I am so impressed with how many books I read this month! However, my April reads had several disappointing books, but I definitely got out of my comfort zone, so that’s a win! Ask Again, Yes Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane was a surprising read for me. I had this book on hold for several weeks and completely forgot about it! I really loved the relationships in this book and how one night can change everything. Definitely recommend checking this one out! One of Us Is Lying Zoella’s book club pick for March, One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus, was such an exciting mystery! I’m a…

    March 2020 Reads

I am really proud of my March reads list! I definitely read out of my comfort zone this month! The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up The hype surrounding this book was intriguing, but I have to admit, I was a little disappointed. The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo was not at all life-changing. I did like her light and slightly humorous writing style and I did find some of her ideas helpful, but I wouldn’t say it was the best “minimalist” viewpoint. While her goals are definitely achievable, I really don’t think it’s practical for everyone. The Husband’s Secret I’m addicted to Liane Moriarty’s books! The…
